| Quick question: can i record sound generated by tone generator plugin? I mean, i can turn it on or off, but i can't find way to send this signal to track and record it. |
| The way I would do it (slightly longer than a simple record but works) is
2/ Send the track with the Tone Generator to a Bus (My example below I renamed it Tone Bus) 3/ Create a separate STEREO track (stereo is important you can convert it later to mono if needed) 4/ Set the input for the new Stereo Track as the Tone Bus 5/ Arm the new Stereo Track 6/ Record press record and record for as long as you want. Once done you can delete any track or bus that is no longer needed. | It would be easier to drag the tone generator to a new track. Then add a second audio track. On the second audio track, assign the tone generator as the input. Put this second track in record and record the tone generator. I'll do this with virtual synths when I want to quickly surf and change presets for some cool effects. | Draw a 4 or 8 bar loop or similar and jrender a stem of the loop range with the 'Add to Track' option. |
